Digging Deeper

From Go to Grow: Prayer Project - 31

Dear Church Family,

On Sunday, I invited you to “take home” three questions to ponder and consider.

  1. When was the last time I went "deeper" with God?
  2. What do I know is a "where did that come from" issue in my life?
  3. Am I willing to ask the Lord to reveal anything that He wants to reveal?

God is Stirring our Hearts

I have a real sense that God is stirring up our hearts to be ready to receive new levels of healing and life. Perhaps you don’t have that sense? That is ok. God moves on all of us in different ways and in His time, so don’t be concerned.

Today I had the blessing of talking with Jim Ranck and Dan Sweger. Both sharing stories of “transformation”. Jim came to help me prepare for Sunday when we talk about the “transformation” and “restoration” of his 1968 Mustang. (Photo included). You will be blessed to hear him share and to begin seeing the steps we can all continue to take to dig deeper into the soil of our own souls.

Dan was here to talk about some great ministry opportunities coming up involving outreach to hurting families who have been impacted by the loss of a family member to imprisonment. We look forward to sharing more of that with you in the coming weeks and months. As he and I were talking, he shared two testimonies of times in his life when God reached in and showed areas of injury in his past. It was so powerful and encouraging! I hope you will be able to hear those testimonies this Sunday as well.

I am so grateful for the ways that God is moving and preparing to move in us and through us. It is an exciting time for us as a church family, and I pray that you and your family are experiencing the gentle tugging of the Holy Spirit as He speaks to us and guides us to deeper places of “sanctification”!

Please be sure to pay attention personally and as a family to the “taking it home” questions as I believe they will be helpful in preparing our hearts for the coming ministry of God.

Keep walking in the Love of the Father and watch expectantly for Him to move in your life!

Prayer Project - 31

Our 31 days of prayer continues to gain momentum! Every day I receive "I Prayed Today!" emails from many of you. Thank you for responding, but even more, THANK YOU FOR PRAYING! It is so encouraging to be praying together and asking God to do what HE wants to do among us.

LET'S DO THIS!

If you would still like to sign the covenant, but have not been able to do so, you are welcome to sign this coming Sunday morning.
