Living Faith Christian Fellowship Mission (an New Life Ministries International Church) outreach team will travel to the Philippines (1-14 December 2013) to take part of the relief efforts. They will help provide emotional and spiritual support to the victims of typhoon. This is one of the strongest or perhaps the strongest typhoons that ever landed in the Philippines and the world. Approximately more than 2,500 people lost their lives and hundreds of thousands were evacuated and thousands were injured and lost their homes. With God’s help and guidance, the team will be partnering with local churches and relief response team in helping in providing relief efforts in that region. Most of all the mission team will make every effort to share the hope of the Gospel of Jesus Christ while providing the basic needs of the people. The primary focus of this trip is to reach out with the compassion and hope of Jesus Christ. This is an evangelistic trip that includes immediate relief/food distribution ministry. There will be opportunities for evangelism and prayer for the sick and those who desperately need hope in a time of great crisis. This trip will be a great opportunity to carry the Father’s heart and the saving grace, healing, and delivering power of Christ to the bound and brokenhearted.
If you would like to help and would like to make a contribution to the victims of typhoon “Haiyan/Yolanda,” please make your checks payable to LFCF and indicate “Haiyan/Yolanda relief.” Also, you can make a check to New Life of the Shenandoah Valley and mark it "Philippine Relief" and we will pass it to Living Faith. All funds received will go directly to relief efforts.
Please respond by November 27, 2013. You can also give online here and in the memo put “Relief for the Philippines”.
Thank you for your generosity and time to support our Filipino friends. God bless you.
